I do not customarily write to a function facility to comment on our experience. This, however, is an exception. My husband and I attended many spectacular events all over the globe. But, I would be remiss if I did not congratulate the entire Lord Thompson Manor staff on their truly outstanding performance during the weekend’s festivities for Alison and Geoff’s wedding. From the time we arrived at the Manor for the Texas BBQ rehearsal dinner, to the farewell breakfast on Sunday, we experienced nothing but an absolutely flawless executing of everything. The setting is idyllic, the food excellent, the staff extremely well-trained in all aspects of service. I told Alison she looked like a princess and had a wedding weekend extravaganza befitting one. I only wish I was young enough to have actually been in her wedding to be able to enjoy the two days of spa pampering. Extremely memorable. Trust Lord Thompson Manor for a fairy tale experience.

Wow! Jamie and Greg’s wedding weekend was perfect! Where to begin? The rehearsal dinner was so lovely. The food was delicious – we still regret not eating more! The tables looked beautiful; the flowers were perfect! The gathering after the Rehearsal Dinner was wonderful. All of Jamie and Greg’s friends, around the fire pit, singing songs, playing guitar and making S’mores. Does it get better than that? The day of the wedding was so much fun. The guys arrived and played football and Frisbee on the Manor grounds and the girls all bonded over at the Cottage House while they got their makeup and hair done. The Cottage House was beautiful and the bridal party really enjoyed staying there. The wedding was just magnificent. Everyone raved about the food at the cocktail hour. The tables looked beautiful and people appreciated the opportunity to sit and eat and talk to the people at their table while having dinner. Dinner was elegant and tasteful and was a great segway between the cocktail hour and the party. The brunch was the finishing touch on a perfect weekend. Every dish was delicious and although we did not want to eat everything that was available, we could not help ourselves. Everyone on the Lord Thompson Manor staff could not be nicer or more accommodating. They were helpful to all of our guests, but most importantly, the grandparents and elderly or sick were taken care of in the most gracious way possible. We got rave reviews, but we did not needanyone to tell us that we had just experienced a magical weekend wedding at the Lord Thompson Manor.

We want to thank Lord Thompson Manor for putting together the most amazing wedding ever. We know everyone thinks theirs is the best (just like “MY baby is the cutest” syndrome), but it was hands down spectacular in every way. Not even wretched family members could taint something so wonderful. All you hard work and attentiveness to you wants was evident every step of the way. Though eloping probably would have been easier over all, we would not give this perfect memory up for anything and would do it all again without question. Lord Thompson Manor is a seamless team perfected in the ability to bring dreams to life. For this, Lord Thompson Manor will always be in our hearts and part of the incredible event that was our union.
Brian and I have been back from our honeymoon for about two weeks, and every day we have heard from either family or friends commenting on how amazing our wedding at Lord Thompson Manor was. Everyone keeps commenting on how wonderful the food was, how attentive the staff was, the beauty of the Manor, and our favorite question asked, “Where did you find this place?”. We heard from so many couples that planning a wedding is so stressful, and I can honestly say, we did not feel any stress at all. Lord Thompson Manor’s presentation with the food was remarkable. We already miss it!! Everything from the rehearsal dinner, to the wedding, to the breakfast the next day, was absolutely delicious. The vendors that were recommended by LTM were all fabulous. Our cake was gorgeous and the best cake we have ever eaten. Lastly, my nephew has severe food allergies that every member of the Lord Thompson Manor staff was aware of. They all took what could have been a very stressful weekend for his parents and instead made it into a non-stressful one. There was not one problem, and we are so grateful for that.
We knew our wedding would be beautiful, but walking through the Manor and seeing everything come together brought tears to my eyes, and took my breath away. It was a moment that we will never forget. LTM is a magical, fairytale place to hold the best weekend of your lives, and we could not imagine a better place to become husband and wife.
